Open Dictando, choose Account, and revoke AI Processing Consent. Dictation uploads stay blocked until you allow processing again.

Use these controls to decide when Dictando can listen, process dictation, and keep account data.

Voice and AI controls
Microphone access
Open iOS Settings, choose Dictando, and turn Microphone off. Dictation and Background Voice Mode will stop working.
Keyboard Full Access
Open iOS Settings, go to Keyboards, choose Dictando, and turn Allow Full Access off. Network-based keyboard dictation will stop.
Local history
Use the controls in Dictando to clear local dictation history and dictionary data stored on your device.
02 / Your rights
Access, correct, export, or delete
Email contact@dictando.app from the address connected to your account. Tell us whether you want access, correction, a copy of account data, or deletion. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting on the request.
You can also start deletion directly in the app. Review exactly what is removed on the Delete Account page first.
03 / Tracking
No advertising profile
The current iOS build does not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking. There is no advertising opt-out switch because Dictando does not build an advertising profile in this build.
The public website demo still processes technical request metadata for security and rate limiting. Read the Privacy Policy for the exact demo data flow.
